Looking Younger Than Ever

Finding a qualified plastic surgeon can be a difficult task for patients. Luckily there are a few key factors that patients should keep a look out for. Before deciding on the most appropriate Plastic Surgery Tampa patients first get an abundant amount of information regarding the procedure and the risks involved from their surgeon. Plastic surgeons usually keep a record of before and after photos of their patients. It’s a good idea for patients to take a look at these so that they know what results they can expect.

The best option for women who wish to undergo a breast augmentation is Breast Implants Tampa has several qualified plastic surgeons that help women achieve fuller breasts. A breast enhancement procedure is a good choice for women that experienced a loss in breast volume or noticed that their breasts are beginning to sag after breast feeding. In order to achieve a more youthful and natural size and contour, plastic surgeons often recommend their patients to get both a breast lift with implant augmentation. These implants are filled with saline or silicone and are placed above or below the muscle.

In Tampa Cosmetic Surgeon have been helping patients boost their self –esteem by helping make corrections in their face and bodies. For patients who wish to rejuvenate their face, they may do so through a face lift, brow lift, eyelid surgery, lip augmentation or other procedures. Through a facelift, skin is tightened and surgeons are able to reduce the visibility of wrinkles and sun damage. Many times a brow lift is done in efforts to reduce the expression lines that have accumulated in that area. These expression lines can make patients look either tired or angry when this isn’t the case. Coronal brow lift and endoscopic brow lift are the two common brow lift methods that help rejuvenate the face.

There are many people who have already benefited from a Tummy Tuck Florida. A tummy tuck allows both men and women to get rid of any unwanted excess skin. A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, aims at removing fatty tissue on the abdomen and tightening the muscles in the same area. After a pregnancy or weight gain, muscles in the abdomen are stretched or separated. When muscles are tightened in an abdominoplasty, a slimmer waistline is created. An incision is made below the waistline and belly button to avoid visible scarring after the surgery. When there is a large amount of fat that should be removed, surgeons may recommend that the tummy tuck be done in combination with a liposuction to have better results.

Surgical Body Contouring Following Extreme Weight Loss

First I did a lot of research on surgical body contouring procedures. What I found is that for post-bariatric body contouring Tampa surgeons generally recommend a series of procedures that are often performed over the course of a year to minimize infection and complications. These procedures can include any combination of: arm lift, tummy tuck, face lift, neck lift, thigh lift, breast lift, and liposuction. These procedures will be specially designed for each patient in order to remove loose skin, tighten trouble zones, and diminish stretch marks and cellulite.

I also researched who is an ideal candidate for surgical body contouring. In Tampa liposuction is not recommended for weight loss, but rather to complement and enhance a patient’s own weight loss endeavors. While everyone who has lost a lot of weight is likely to experience sagging skin, only those who are at a healthy BMI should consider cosmetic surgery. Once you reach a healthy weight, your chance of successful surgery and recovery increase dramatically.

Based on my research, the ideal candidate will be:

• At a healthy weight

• Have maintained a stable weight for more than 1 year

• In overall good health – those with chronic illness should avoid elective surgery and discuss their options at depth with their physician

• Non-smokers – smokers are always at higher risk during surgical procedures

The biggest downside to a full body lift is the required downtime for recovery. Hospital stays, barring any complications, range from an average of one to four days. During this time tubes are placed in the wounds to drain fluids and the patient has round the clock access to pain medication. Pain, swelling, and bruising often last up to three weeks after the surgery. In Tampa plastic surgery patients are recommended to take a month off of work to allow the body to properly mend and heal. However, those with physically demanding jobs should take longer, or try to negotiate a job with less physical impact for about two months following the surgery.

Of course, regular visits with the doctor to monitor healing must be scheduled, and only your doctor can give you the go ahead to re-introduce activities into your life. Scarring is unavoidable with all invasive surgeries, however, because of the magnitude of these procedures, other risks are associated, including: bleeding, infection, asymmetry, and skin laxity, among others. For a great body contouring cosmetic surgeon Tampa is a great place to research your plastic surgery needs. WNDBXJGPXCX3

5 Reasons Breast Implants Were A Good Decision for Me

1)Obsessed Over Internet Photos: I admit that I used to sit in front of my computer looking up breast implants before and after photos. Often, even the before pictures looked better than my own breasts, which of course only made me more self-conscious. I love being an “after” now.

2)Perfect Hourglass Shape: While my natural breasts were average sized compared with most Florida girls, my main source of discontent was their lack of symmetry. Before I got breast implants Tampa girls made me feel very self conscious. I used to hate bathing suit shopping because I only felt comfortable in very structured, padded bikini tops. With triangle tops all the rage in Florida, my shopping options were severely limited. Now I can wear any bikini off the rack and I had a blast when I bought a new suit for summer.

3)Needed a Lift: I’m not that old, but my breasts definitely didn’t have that youthful perkiness anymore. I never felt comfortable going braless before, and overall I just wasn’t comfortable in my own skin. In Tampa breast augmentation is almost as common as dental cleanings, so I notice many pairs of perky, perfectly round breasts everywhere I go. Of course I don’t go braless when I’m out in public, but when I’m lounging around the house I feel much more at ease without a bra.

4)Less is More: I am all about health, and I eat well and exercise regularly. However, I couldn’t change my breast size and shape without some surgical help. I wasn’t looking for giant triple Ds, but I really wanted rounder, fuller, symmetrical breasts. Once I decided to get plastic surgery Tampa had the best doctors to choose from and I’m very happy with the natural look and feel of my new breasts.

5)No More Padded Bras: My padded pushup bra collection is extensive, to say the least. I shudder to think how much money Victoria’s Secret has sucked out of me over the years. I’ll even admit to going the double bra route sometimes, just to give the impression of cleavage when in actuality I had none. Honestly, two underwires is pretty uncomfortable, but pain is beauty, right? I’m so glad that I took the plunge and went for a permanent solution to my cleavage problem.

5 Reasons Liposuction Was a Good Choice for Me

1) Working Out Wasn’t Cutting It: I love being active, and fitness is a huge part of my life. I didn’t resort to liposuction as a quick fix to get rid of flab. But after years of working out consistently, it became apparent that certain body parts, namely my thighs and butt, were not going to get as slim as I wanted, no matter how much I dieted and exercised. I was genetically disposed to carrying weight in these areas, and if I was serious about getting rid of them, surgery was the only way to do so. I began looking online for a plastic surgeon Tampa, luckily, offered some of the best names in the business.

2) Cellulite: Most women have this problem, and all women hate it. Even thin women are sometimes subject to cellulite, although that’s little comfort if you’re one of the ones trying to hide those cottage cheese thighs. However, in Tampa liposuction and body contouring are common procedures and I was constantly seeing perfectly smooth and tanned bodies on the beach. Now I don’t mind wearing shorts or skirts because I know my skin looks smooth and flattering.

3) Proportion: Because of the way fat naturally settles on my body, I felt very disproportionate. My waist looked like it belonged on a different person compared with my thighs and butt. Shopping for jeans was a nightmare – anything that fit my thighs was baggy and unflattering on my waist, but if they fit my waist they were way too tight on my thighs. I was probably my seamstress’s most loyal customer. Now I can wear clothes off the rack and shopping is no longer the stress it once was.

4) My Surgeon: Of course, if there were no risks involved, I’m sure we would all be lining up outside our nearest cosmetic surgeon’s office requesting the perfect body. Unfortunately, all surgeries come with risks. When choosing a cosmetic surgeon Tampa has so many choices so I began by researching internet reviews. Once I’d narrowed down the choices to a few surgeons, I requested email addresses of former patients so that I could ask questions and get an idea what to expect. I also went to my consultation with a notebook so that I could see my questions in writing and not forget anything that I wanted to know. Once I decided to get liposuction Clearwater was my place of choice because my surgeon was so patient in answering my questions and putting me at ease.

5) Confidence: As I’m sure most women understand, I would have my good days and my bad days when it came to my body image. If my clothes just weren’t fitting right, or it was hot out but I felt too self-conscious to wear summer clothing, I’d get down on myself and it would affect my entire mood. Now I feel comfortable in my own skin, which makes liposuction worth the cost and pain in the long run for me.

Breast Augmentation and Tummy Tucks in Tampa

When it comes to finding a Cosmetic Surgeon Tampa has something for just about everyone. You can take your pick of different plastic surgery providers throughout the city to get all kinds of procedures done. It doesn't matter what you are looking for because there is something for everyone, including liposuction and breast implants. These procedures are not all about looking great, but they can help people look better. The main goal is usually to help people boost their self-esteem and confidence, which is what most people are searching for when they seek out Tampa plastic surgery.

If you decide to get breast augmentation Tampa surgeons recommend sub muscular position of the implants, meaning the implant is placed under the pectoralis major muscle. During a breast augmentation procedure small insertions are made in either the armpit or belly button region, resulting in minimal scarring. If you opt for both a breast lift and augmentation, there will be a lollipop shaped scar going around the nipple with a line down the center of the breast. A breast lift and augmentation generally takes 2 to 3 hours to complete. Most breast augmentation patients take two weeks off of work and strenuous activity is forbidden for the month following the surgery. Pain killers and muscle relaxers are prescribed as needed to manage the pain.

What is the difference between a breast lift and a breast augmentation? A breast augmentation simply increases breast size and provides subtle shape improvements with the use of implants, while a breast lift is used to make large nipples smaller, correct breast asymmetry, or to lift loose, sagging breasts. Often times after child birth or extreme weight loss, the breasts begin to sag. Aging also leads to sagging as breasts lose fullness and gravity takes over. If the nipples point downward then the patient is a good candidate for a breast lift. For people whose breasts fall into both categories it may be optimal to speak to a Tampa cosmetic surgeon about receiving both a breast lift and augmentation at the same time.

Many patient opt for a tummy tuck at the same time they undergo a other cosmetic procedure. During a traditional tummy tuck Tampa surgeons do not remove fat, but instead the loose skin is cut and the remaining skin is stitched up, which also reduces the appearance of stretch marks. An incision is made in the lower abdomen area, from the hip to the pelvic area. Liposuction actually removes fat cells from the body, so that even if you do gain a few pounds back, it will most likely settle in a different area. After a tummy tuck and liposuction patients have to wear a compression garment for about a month. It takes approximately two weeks for the pain to subside, during which time the patient takes prescription pain killers. Strenuous activity must be avoided for six weeks following the surgery, and it generally takes several months for the swelling to completely subside.

Breast Implants and Liposuction Most Common Cosmetic Surgery Procedures

Tampa Breast ImplantsIf you have considered cosmetic surgery, but still have a few questions, set up a consultation and get the answers you’re looking for. For patients considering plastic surgery Tampa surgeons are more than happy to take the time to discuss procedures, expectations, costs, and recovery time. Cosmetic surgery is a permanent fix to figure and facial flaws, so you should make the decision armed with as much information as possible. Even once the decision is made to undergo cosmetic surgery, there are many more options the patient will be faced with.

In Tampa breast implants are one of the most commonly requested cosmetic procedures. Breast augmentation patients have several options regarding their procedure. The first thing to decide is whether to get silicone or saline fillers. There are pros and cons to each option, as it is widely thoughts that silicone feels more like a natural breast. Saline, on the other hand, is often touted as safer because it is easily and safely absorbed by the body in the unusual case that implants rupture. Size is another big consideration. While some people think that bigger is better, it is best to consult with the surgeon on what size is most proportionate for your size. Overly large breasts on a small frame can lead to back pain down the road.

In Tampa liposuction is a popular procedure for both men and women. New fat dissolving and liposuction procedures seem to pop up every day. So how do you know which one is right for you? A recent poll asked board certified plastic surgeons their preferable method. Based on safety and results, when it comes to liposuction Tampa plastic surgeons overwhelmingly agree that the traditional suction-assisted lipectomy is the preferred method. Traditional methods of liposuction have longer proven track records and most doctors feel that newer methods result in increased patient complications.

If money is the concern many surgeons offer options for financing to accommodate patients on a more modest budget. Cosmetic surgery is no longer just for the rich and famous, middle income workers are also opting to enhance their looks with the help of a little surgery. It is advisable for cosmetic surgery patients to take two weeks off of work. Arduous activities are not allowed in the month following the surgery. Post operative patients need to wear a bra at all times for the first month after the procedure to reduce sagging.

Breast Implants Among Most Common Plastic Surgery Procedures

Tampa Plastic SurgeryFlorida proximity to sunny beaches mean that its residents spend an excessive amount of time in skimpy outfits or beach wear. With the prevalent beach style, Tampa inhabitants naturally spend an above average amount of time making sure their figure is in perfect bikini condition. Exercising and eating healthfully are a great routine to get into, but where good habits leave off, skilled plastic surgeons can pick up the slack for obtaining an ideal figure. Feminine curves emphasize a tiny, toned waist, and make any bathing suit look even better. Thankfully for residents of Tampa plastic surgery is not only increasingly common, but it is also more affordable than in the past. In fact, many surgeons offer options for financing to accommodate patients on a more modest budget. Cosmetic surgery is no longer just for the rich and famous, middle income workers are also opting to enhance their looks with the help of a little surgery.

What female would object to full, perky breasts without needing to spend a small fortune on padded and pushup bras with uncomfortable underwires? This is exactly why breast augmentation is one of the most commonly requested plastic surgery procedures. When choosing to get breast implants Tampa residents have their choice of some the best cosmetic surgeons in the world. While in the past it was usually noticeable if a patient had increased their bust size using surgical procedures, plastic surgeons now utilize the most advanced materials and cutting-edge procedures in order to give patients a natural look and feel. Surgeons have also developed techniques that result in minimal scarring.

Patients should do some research on breast augmentation, because they will be presented with options at their consultation. When meeting with your Tampa plastic surgeon, make sure you have a list of questions ready. For example, patients can choose between silicone or saline fillers. Many people feel that silicone is more similar to a natural breast, but the benefit of saline is that it is easily and safely absorbed by the body if the implants were to rupture. It is advisable for cosmetic surgery patients to take two weeks off of work. Arduous activities are not allowed in the month following the surgery. Post operative patients need to wear a bra at all times for the first month after the procedure to reduce sagging.

Rather than saving money on your plastic surgeon Tampa patients need to find a doctor who will get it right the first time. Botched procedures are difficult and costly to correct, especially once the additional time off for work to recover from multiple procedures is factored in.
